Default Just got first curb rash on wheel

Car is new but got curb rash on rear right wheel This was so painful. Should I try to get it repaired or is it not worth the money and better to just buy new OEM wheel to replace? If the price to repair is gonna be anywhere close to half the price of buying new replacement wheel id rather just buy the new wheel..

I would just use this as a perfect excuse to move from OEM all together....The wheels are okaish for being OEM but not attention gainer by no means. Just food for thought.

If it is not bent, a good wheel shop would fix that for about $125 (about 1/4 the cost of a new wheel) here in Florida. In Texas YMMV.

In NJ there's a place that has quoted me 125 a wheel on my old 335.. Wheels were machine finish like these. Call local shops most only need the wheel for 1-2 days max.

All of my wheels have a little on them. Sucks huh? Once I saw what 500mile a week driving also brings (chips and more chips ), I got used to the rash.

Yessirrr. I got one about 3 inches in length on my front wheel @ ~2200 miles. I wanted to fix it, but I just figure I'll save for some upgrades in the future.

*I was being a fckboy, eating a sandwich and trying to park against the curb. =\

Default happens to the best of us....

i definitely agree it would be more cost effective to just get it repaired and since its a OEM rim, no big deal, but for me it would always be in the back of my head whenever i looked at it that it was damaged, even if it wasn't visible.
myself i would replace it with a new one,but if your going to go the aftermarket route don't bother.
