Glad you enjoy the Michelins! I've had the PSS AS3+ for about 2500 miles now and they're great. Ride and handling is superb in dry and wet. These tires accommodate to Washington states crazy weather.

I had a set of AS 3 I put on my old Civic. My s2000 had a set of PSS. My brother has a set on AS 3 on this Mini. I'll be putting AS 3+ on my IS350 AWD when I get it. I thought about the DWS06 for a brief second, but was not a fan of how once the S is worn down on the contact patch, it is no longer useable for snow.

Endaar, I'm really happy that you feel the same way that I do about the AS3+ vs DWS 06. Be safe out there and enjoy the ride.

Does anyone have pictures of AS 3+ on F sport wheels on RSR downs? I am contemplating spacers, I know that the OEM tires run very narrow, I want to avoid fender contact and don't want to roll, thinking about 20mm or 15mm if the studs clear.

Ive driven on them both on the same car (Not a 3IS) and basically what's been said is the truth.

On DWSs (And DWS06s are even better) my RWD Jaguars are unstoppable in the snow; these things grip 90-95% as well as snow tires... it's uncanny.

Pilot Sport A/Ss are just about fair in the snow.

DWSs are really more like a touring tire, not my first choice for spirited driving and a bit mushy. The originals were horrible for blowing out from potholes.

Pilot Sport *** are decent performance tires, among the best as far as All Seasons go (Although I kinda like Goodyear FA *** a tad more)

Based on reviews and the price ... WHEN I need new tires, I'll go with the DWS 06

Tirerack has actually done comparison reviews of the new DWS06 and the AS3+ and the AS3+ came out ahead. I do not have to worry about the All-Seasons, thankfully, in Cali, so I just throw PSS on my sports sedans. I was at the point of making that decision for my E350. I opted for the AS3+ because I do like a sportier ride, although for that car and as a luxury family sedan, I might have been better off with the DWS06.

I agree too. I got them on my IS350 FSport RWD and they handled were great in my driveway (its an extremely steep incline) in the snow and I'm in NE Mass.

NE winters...love em... 2 hours to get to boston from the cape..if I could get out of the driveway..lol.
just ordered a set of Michelin PSS, hopefully they aren't too wide in the front (235/35/19), wasn't aware they ran wider than most tires until after I ordered.
used to running nittos on my 93 mustang gt, but love the way Michelins handle on my R1.
