I'm excited to see what they do with the styling updates, but am fully prepared to see a lot of CL posters upset about lack of a major engine update. Count me in the group that expects to see nothing more than the change to the GS 2GR-FKS engine, with 311 hp.

I also think they're not going to change the 3.5L engine (other than that 5HP boost the GS got). BUT if they did update the engine..it would be very tempting for me to sell my IS350 to get the new one. I'd especially do it if they had a higher power version to compete with the 400 HP Q50.

I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but given that Lexus just introduced two new engines, it is doubtful that there are major engine changes on the way.

Pole Position
New turbo six would probably be introduced in new LS and then it should trickle down to rest of the line up. I hope I'm wrong though but I would be happy even if they only reconfigure 2.0t engine to either boost performance or efficiency and make it up to par with competition.

i'm sure it's just the typical mid-cycle facelift. It's too early for a fully new design.
i'm glad they're ditching the amoebic headlights though. Lexus clearly saw the fault in the ugly headlight design since every headlight since the 3IS debut has had clean lines. The only part I hate about the 3IS exterior is the odd shape of the headlight...
Since I didn't get the F sport, this may be a good opportunity to get an even better front end conversion on the car!

The teaser pic looks amazing to me. I wonder how long before we can convert our '14-16 models?
