Valentine One V1 Radar Detector Mounting question
Hey Guys,
New to the forum since I just purchased 2014 IS250 awd f sports!
Quick question about Valentine One radar detector.
Any of you guys own v1 and mounted with wire kit?
If so, could you give me some tips? Never mounted v1 before so I'm not sure how wiring works and how would it actually look in my IS.
Any tips or pictures would be appreciated!
Thanks!

i had a v1 in each and every one of my cars. for the 3is, easiest way to do mount is do a hardwire to the rear view mirror and use the stock v1 suction cups and stick them as close to the center and top of the windscreen as possible (close to the little black dots, but not on them because it won't stay). i'd say it takes about 20 min from start to finish. the hardest part is finding the thread to figure out which color wire to tap. let me know if you need any help!

I had wanted to mount the V1 up behind the rear view mirror with just the rear-facing antenna sticking out and use the Valentine remote display. This is what I've done in every car I've owned for the past ten years since getting my V1.
Sadly, with all the crap Lexus puts behind the mirror, there isn't space, so I velcroed it to the center speak on the dash and hard wired it to the fuse box. Less than ideal but not nearly as visible from the rear as the mirror mounts.
Any of you guys using the phone apps as a display so that you can run the detector in dark mode?
