Default Rocks sticking to tires and chipping paint !!!

So i just recently about 2 months ago got a 2014 lexus is 250 f sport and i noticed that there's scratches on my back bumper and just today i found another one up front behind the just behind the wheels. I had a 2007 honda civic that didnt have this problem. So i was wondering what could be causing this problem. Then I noticed the wheels (stock) are wide on this type of cars. So i think the tire is graving rocks and throwing them at the bumper. My honda had the wheels tucked in and they didnt stick out like the lexus. Plus it didnt what the lexus have that the bumper curves in on the bottom. My question is how can i prevent this from happening? Do anyone is having the same problem?

I wish these cars came with mudguards especially in the rear as that's the only way to prevent these chips at the bottom of the rear bumper.

If you don't like the mud guards, there is ppf that you can buy and apply yourself for about $50.

Can believe a lexus would have this problem. Makes me want to trade it in for a mercedez c300 which by the looks of it doesnt have this problem.

The C300 has enough problems of its own let alone small rocks in the tires. I've had a C300 and an E350. I spent more time in rentals than I did driving the dumb cars. I figured I had around $14-15k in repairs on the two before the warranty was up. I sold them right at 50k.

My brother has a 2012 GL450 and has just over $21k in warranty claims on it.

I would rather get the paint touched up on the Lexus and not worry about anything than have another mercedes ever again.

Yes I guess you are right. I'm just upset because it's my first lexus and I want to keep it looking good.

Maybe you drove over something slightly bigger than "rocks"

Small pieces of a destroyed truck tire maybe? Only suggesting that cause you live in Florida..

Second this ^

I was so obsessed because this was my First lexus and first nice car especially when it came to the dings the bumper gets with rocks. At the end of the day though No one is taking a microscope to the car and its all about driving it. Can always get re-pain or touch-up. More is going to happen later on in the cars life. But i understand your pain
