Chrome Delete this past weekend (3M)...Opinions requested
Hello all.
This past weekend I chrome deleted 90% of the car and would love everyone's opinion. The professional wrapping company charged $275 total and used 3M vinyl (obsidian gloss black wrap). I decided against smoking the upper tails, front headlights & front "L". The "AWD IS350" letters were too close so they were unable to wrap them so they simply removed them.
Where I need your input...I requested them not wrap the rear "L" but they did. I realize I can quickly remove this but would love everyone's opinion whether I should keep the rear blacked out or if it takes away from the integrity of the vehicle. The only piece in question is the center "L" on the rear. Thoughts??? Thanks in advance.
PS- the bottom 4 pictures are Before/After pics

To me it looks off balance in the rear with no IS 350 but still having the F Sport. I would either take the F Sport off or put the IS 350 back on.
As far as the black L in the back, it looks good IMO.
I recently had vinyl installed, the L painted black and the IS 350 removed (mine didn't come with rear F Sport badging). It's looks balanced now.

Hell, I've seen many members on here remove their stock badging on the rear & replace it with a solo squared off "F" badge on the right side. This is why I seeked everyone's advice.

Hey Don, hope all is well. I followed you on MBworld.org when I had my Benz and know this is your area of expertise. Would you suggest anything differently when it comes to the off-balanced lettering in the rear? The only reason I decided against painting them was due to the fact that my vehicle is leased. I knew it would be easier to put the factory lettering back on in 3 years then to paint them and purchase another set down the road.

If you're really considering the black badges on the rear, then I would highly suggest just simply plasti dipping the pieces and seeing how you like it. It may not be gloss black like you want, but it'll at least give you an in person visual that you can then base your decision on.
