IS 200t Owners: Any Engine Vibrations Felt at Low RPM?
There are some NX 200t owners experiencing some uncharacteristic engine vibrations at idle or low rpms around 700-800 rpms as per this thread here, even for a 4 cylinder.
How about IS 200t owners?

I've only tested driven both NX200t and IS200t.
The NX has a typical 4 cylinder idle with typical 4 cylinder vibrations.
Even the C Class and 3 Series 2L turbos have a typical 4 cylinder idle.
On the otherhand, the IS200t has a literally perfect idle; even more amazing when you consider that it's only 4 cylinders.
The IS200t idles better than my V6 powered GS!!!
It idles better than my wife's and my father's IS250's.
Although the IS200t revs better than the NX200t, both still "rev" poorly compared to Benz and BMW.
I would imagine Lexus will iron this out in years to come.
It is also theoretically possible that they may even be able to make the 4 cylinders rev more smoothly than V6's in years to come; just theoretically - I hope so anyway.
The IS200t is considerably quieter and more damped for sound than the raucous NX200t.
The IS's 2L turbo isn't just quieter, it is both smoother idling, and smoother revving too.

Many of the respected YouTube reviewers in Australia and Asia have also commented positively on the refinement of the IS200t installation. Several of them did not expect this finding.

I believe to have been the first IS200T on this forum and ever since then, the car has been dreamy to say the least. No knocking/vibrations from the engine thus far.

Got mine is200t about 6 days ago and yeah.. engine vibrates when i took my foot off the brakes..
Maybe they need to retune the ecu to have a higher idling rpm.

you not talking about auto engine off, right? because all car except hybrid or pure electrical, you will notice car shakes when you take your feet off the brake.

I am not a IS200t owner, but i took it for a test drive and I was very surprised, not just how quiet it is but also how smooth it is. Very well balanced. At low rpm, to me it felt smoother than my old BMW 2.5 I6, at high rpm it was typical 4 cylinder, but also smooth and quiet. Much smoother and quieter than my current 528i I4. Auto start-stop system, which is i think mandatory here in EU works also smoother in IS than BMW. Launch from a standstill is also much better by IS than one class upper BMW, which vibrates like a coffeemaker. BMW sounds deeper at high rpm, but it is artificial sound. Driving windows down, IS200t was nice to hear, BMW is an acoustic disaster. I also drove for a test NX200t and i can confirm, it was about same like BMW. Vibrations and loud idle, but engine sound much clearer, without any agricultural knocking typical for BMW.

Hi guys.. Got my Is200t since december 2015.. It was alll fine until 2 days ago.. It was raining heavily, when I drove the car from my house, I crossed puddles n it was all fine, reached the hospital and switched off the engine. It was when I drove it on my way home, I was just over 60km/h that it starts shaking/vibrating like crazy, no engine warning or what so ever came out.. Went to the agent and asked one of the foreman to hopped in for a test drive with me but the engine was smooth no vibration and told me that they couldnt do any diagnostics if there arent any warning..
Yesterday, I took it for a spin 60km/h it was okay, 100km/hr it was fine but when it reached to 160km/h the vibration began without any warning sign popping out.. I just stepped on the pedal some more and the vibration starts to fade off.. Then I went back home and the vibration was gone..
And today, I drove the car from home without any vibration even when I drove it more than 100km/h but then When I drove it back home with a speed of 60km/h, the vibration came out again..
I'm not sure if the electrical components got water splashed into or not.. Anyone has any idea whats the cause of the vibration? No, its not from the tyre.. Please help..
