Indeed, I got from 0.00125 to 0.0006, and payment went from 507.- to 430.- for a 350 F-sport,36 month/10k, just by telling him I did some research overnight, and that was next day when I called to pick up the car, after I had signed and put the deposit down already.

Default Good lease deal? So-cal

Hi all,

Does this seem like a good deal? I might close this weekend. 2 different dealerships are offering me pretty much the same deal.

2015 IS 250 F Sport package
No Nav

MSRP $42,653
Negotiated down to $37,645
Total (after taxes, other fees)--$41,526
$0 down
36 months/ 13 k mi
Monthly payment of $430

Let me know if you need more info. Only reason I think it's high is because when all is said and done
I'm still getting a car that is being replaced by a newer model and without Nav.

Doesn't sound that great, my 2015 350 F-sport was 48k plus tax, minus my trade-in value of 3,600.- making it 44,900.- including tax and delivery, so about 3,500.- more than yours, and I also pay 430.-/month at 10k/36m. My residual value is 31,500.-

Gotta be honest----your's doesn't sound too great... Without the $3600 trade-in, you'd be over $530/month with only 10k miles/year.

Either way, as long as each buyer is satisfied with the deal and happy with the car, all is good!

Hmmm, not sure how to respond. I was pointing out that after my down payment, my car was still about 4k more expensive, and I pay the same monthly. I drive very little, and a 12k lease would have added 18.-/month.
Also, he did ask for an opinion, so that's an odd statement "as long as each buyer is satisfied with the deal and happy with the car, all is good!". If he would be happy with the deal, he would not have asked.

Yeah I'm not entirely thrilled with my deal. I said I'd sign if they threw in the Vehicle Protection Package in the price but they didn't budge. Even if they threw in NAV which I don't use much I can justify signing.

What's funny is what they're all really interested in is buying my 2004 IS 300. Even more so than they are in leasing me an F Sport. Haha! I won't budge though. Personally I don't believe in trading in for a lease because I like $0 down in general. Will do private sale. But for now still looking for a good lease deal.

I think what Crew was getting at is did you get any discount at all off msrp or did you pay msrp and only get credit for your 3600 trade in. In your case, if the $48k was msrp, a good deal would have been around $43k and then subtract any trade in credit from that.

Edit: Just re-read your post - your figure of $44.9 was incl tax and fees - in TX they charge tax on the total sale price, right? If so, yours is a pretty good deal.

Yes indeed, Texas charges you tax on the full vehicle price, not just part of your lease as I got in NY.

Crystal - how are they coming up with $4000 in fees? You should only have the 700 lease initiation, about 350 DMV, 80 dealer doc fee, and maybe a few other minor admin fees. What is the residual? Also, did you mean 12k miles instead of 13k?

Fortunately, we get better deals here in Los Angeles. Got my girlfriend a 2015 IS250 Premium for $285 a month for a 24 month 20k Miles deal. $1000 due at signing.

What was the MSRP of the car? What was your selling price? Which dealership was this at? Does $285 include taxes as well? Any other incentives used besides dealer $500 lease cash? If you don't want to mention dealer name on thread please send a PM to me. Looking to pull trigger on one this weekend. Thanks.

I got my 250F end of June with Nav
MSRP 43,499
I went with 24m/10k mi
I put 2k down which included first month payment, lisence and doc fees and no security deposits
Payment is $348.89 tax included
I could of done way better but my credit didin't come out as I thought it would. I think if i had tier1 credit I could of gotten it for around $315 a month
Oh and I got 10% off MSRP here in CA easily.

What MF was used for your payment on a Tier 1? So your selling price of the car was $39149 or there about? Which dealer ship did you do this deal at? What was your residual value?

I'm not sure what MF you get on Tier 1 because I did not qualify for it. I have a newer credit history so they thankfully bumped me up to a tier 3. The residual value is around 31450 I recall. I got it through Redline Auto Leasing in Glendale. Great transparent service over there. They had the car delivered same day from Keyes Lexus in Van Nuys. I would definetly give Redline a call, very simple procedure he hooked it up even with poor credit

But yeah wether you get your deal through a broker or not. From what I know Keyes Lexus Van Nuys gives these cars out like candy on halloween.
