Default 2015 IS350 F Sport on Vossen CVT

Hi All,

Sorry for possible repeat on the subject matter. I'm here for some help on tires for my setup.

I'll be getting RSR downspring (not super down) and at the same time I want to get a new rims and tire setup, below are my purchase:

Vossen CVT: Front 20x9 +38 Rear 20x10.5 +45
I'm looking for more information on tire spec and this is what I have in mind:
Front 225/35/20 Rear 255/30/20

In terms of tire brand, I've looked into Hankook V12 Evo, apparently they don't have the Evo anymore and the new Evo2 does not fit to that spec. Any other recommendation in terms of tire brands? Or tire specs?

Obviously we don't want any rubbing here..

Thanks all!

Han

Not sure if he's on Downs, but looks dropped about that much. He has no issues with rubbing: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ml#post9055286

^ His look to be a 10" wide rear. Not sure how the 10.5" wide with +45 will change things.

Dude i have the same setup, like exactly the same setup of rims, and RSR half down springs. i went for 235/35/20 front and 255/30/20 rear. but 225 front will work. the car doesn't rub as all and drives smoothly.

Dude! Awesome. Now, I know you're running on Pirelli tires.. would that make a difference if I were to take other brands?

Also, did you put in SCP Camber kit?

Nope, i would have gone for the hankook but there were none avaiable when i went to install the tires. Pirelli, hankook and bridgestone are the best i think haha. besides when you go to this level of tires, you are in the super sport level of cars like lambo and ferrari, they use those tires for their cars.

no i dont have that kit installed. just the springs.

What's the reasoning behind going 225/35/20 instead of 225/30/20 in the front? Will that matter if the front is on 35 series tires and the back is on 30 series?

225/30/20 wont rub on on super down springs. But 225/35/20 might when you make a turn.
I have 235/35/20 front on half down springs. Thats a 2 inch drop upfront.
The quality of the ride is very good with those shoes.
