Default Bilstein F Sport shock absorbers

I tried in the suspension forum first and got zero replies. Thought it'd get more visibility here:

I've been unable to find much info on these shocks.. maybe they're still unavailable? What I'm interested in is knowing if they are going to be AVS compatible or not. Anyone know?

Shocks in question can be found at the bottom of the page here: http://www.lexus.com/models/IS/accessories

thanks!

Have you contacted your dealer about them?

Yeah. At first they said "yeah, we can get those" but after further discussion they were referring to standard avs shocks. They were unaware of the bilstein being made for the 3is and didn't have much more info to offer. Maybe next time I'm in I'll stop by the parts counter and ask in person.

That's pretty silly of them. When I bought my 350 about a month ago, I saw an official accessories pamphlet with the shocks in them.

Also interested in any updates you guys are able to get. The Bilstein F Sport Shocks/Struts are suppose to replace the stock F Sport Shocks/Struts? Having done multiple track days with my IS, I'd say it would need upgraded springs to go with any dampening alternations. Not sure there's much benefit to just replacing the dampers based on my experience on track. IMO of course.
