RSR Super Down Ripping My Bumper OFF!!!
Am I the only one having this issue?
It really sucks seeing this happen, I profile at every dip/bump/driveway/etc...
Who's having this issue with the RSR Super Down?
Also - My car is a lease, what is going to happen at the end of my lease? Should I return it early to another dealer to have them buy my car out so I can avoid paying for the damages?

Damn that sucks but not surprising with super downs. id take those ****ing things off asap before they cause more damage and/or underbody damage you can't see. If you plan on leasing another Lexus i don't think taking it to a different dealership would have any effect on who won't charge you for the damage. Your dealership doesn't own the car right now toyota financial (the bank) does. So first thing i would do is take those springs off and then shop around with the damage and see what dealer is willing to eat the cost to earn your business. If you don't plan on leasing another Lexus you might as well fix it now.
PS i am lowered on RSR Down fronts and Tanabe NF210 rears so i am not against lowering at all but that aggressive of a drop on stock shocks etc. is idiotic.

Not really...I'm not saying that to be mean..I'm saying it to be brutally honest.
Modding your car always takes a chance to break or damage something.
I plan to cam my car next year, if I sent a valve up through the head...its my fault. I modded a stock system that worked.
Thats all....modding is fun, but can be expensive when things don't go well.

OP, as for your bottom comment, this can be handled 2 different ways.
1. You pay to fix it out of pocket. You didn't show the total amount of damage, but I would assume $1k right off the bat. Not sure what your point is with the credit card, show us where the car caught the gorund, how damaged the lower clip is, and try to see if any clips are broken or just popped off.
2. You go through your comprehensive insurance and pay your deductible to get it fixed. You will have to get an estimate to determine which is cheaper "out of pocket vs. deductible + premium increase"
If you can pay out of pocket to fix the car/insurance, then you won't have to notify any dealership. Just fix it.

Well...what ripped you bumper? The springs do not come into contact with it? Was it a curb? Was it your tires? What are your wheel/tire specs?
There are so many variables...you cant possibly blame just the springs on ripping out your bumper you know!

I think if you pay to have it fixed on your own before turning it back in, that will cost significantly less than whatever they charge you for damages at the end of the lease. You could take it to CarMax and get an offer. If that's more than your residual, take the deal, pay off the residual, and start over. I purposely went with RSR Down springs instead of Super Downs because I was just tired of having to take super shallow angles over everything with my GS. I just wanted a more normal driving experience. It's more normal, but I still have to be careful. Some harsh comments in here, though. Geez.

Thanks for the feedback guys!
And to the negative harsh comments, I just learned to ignore it. It's the internet, on any platform. On Clublexus we are a family, so would you talk to your cousin or child who is fixing up their car? It just results in hostile argumentative feedback.
I'll probably go back to stock springs and fix the bumper with my local shop.
The damage happened from normal day-to-day driving, and I think the clip broke off when I was parking at the VONS parking lot and hit the parking curb :/

I used to slam flush, not hellaflush, one of my cars with coilovers and the right fender liner flew off the freeway after a dip. The other right fender liner flew off the freeway too after I tried running over a paper bag but instead got stuck and destroyed it. I guess I didn't have to worry about those anymore. A lot of hellaflush people take it off from the get go anyways. I didn't adjust the heights since 09 and still runs like a champ and have no electrical issues when it rains.
Last time I'd lower it by that much. I think you have the same problem here, but I think yours is worse since it's a Lexus.
I don't think he got it used, since it's a lease
