1 Year, 12 Month Service, Reflections
I bought my 2014 IS on October 24th, 2013. It's a 350 AWD in Starfire Pearl. In the past 12+ months, I have put on 8800 miles, and have had it in for service twice (6 month and 12 month complimentary services).
I had the 12 month service today, where they did the typical 12 month/10k mile service. I also asked for an update to the nav system firmware, which the happily accommodated. They noted that the brakes and tires barely show any wear, which is good news, and everything looks good. I have not, luckily, experienced the battery draining issue, or subpar performance from the seat heaters and ventilation (mine work great!).
I bought my IS and my RX in the same week. The RX had this service a couple months ago, as it's now up to about 13k miles. We drive the RX more than the IS, plus my wife uses the RX to commute, which is longer than my commute in the IS.
All in all, I am happy with the IS (and VERY happy with the RX). My only issue has been with the navigation system, which is hopefully improving with the firmware updates. The car is a blast to drive, comfortable, and I still find it stunning to look at. I'll soon be adding a second car seat to the back seat (). My best tank of gas was 26 mpg and my worst was 17.9 mpg. I average about 21 in a mix of mostly suburban driving.
I have two years left on the lease. I am thinking about a '16 GS on the next round, for the increased interior room, as long as the GS receives a nice update by then.
I hope the rest of you are enjoying your cars as well.

I have the same wheels on mine. They are not only beautiful but MUCH easier to clean than any of the other (more complex) designs. I have one of those "raccoon's tail" brushes from EZ-Detail and it gets easily and completely into the barrel of the wheels. These are the best wheels I've ever had on any car.

^^ I can imagine!! I just got rid of my 2012 TL AWD and it had the 18 inch wheels with a very similar pattern and loved them to death!
