Lexus maintenance plan is worth it?
Hi there,
Recently purchased 2014 IS 350 F-Sport RWD. It is a lovely car and very well balanced. I love how planted the car feels on twisty road and very confidence inspiring. I am glad that I made this purchase.
Now I just want to ask if anyone of you purchased maintenance plan that covers 8 services (presumably 15K-50K miles). The finance guy said MSRP is $2,225 for the plan and it doesn't cover brakes, tires, wipers - which is totally fine with me. Is it worth purchasing this plan? Would you pay more if you service the vehicle at dealership w/o the plan? Do you know if the price can be reduced? The finance guy mentioned if you switched from a different brand (from Audi in my case) I can get a conquest rebate of $250 applied against MSRP. What do you guys think?

Definitely not worth it. All you have to do up to 50k miles are few oil changes, air filters, remote batteries and a break flush if i'm not wrong. Shouldn;t be more than $1000. You are definitely overpaying
