Letter from Lexus?
All,
Last week I received a letter from Lexus stating that my Monronry label (MSRP sticker) was incorrect. It stated that I was purchasing FJ (F Sport Package with Adaptive Variable Suspension and Sport S+ Model) and it should have read as FJ (F Sport Package) with (F Sport tuned suspension & VDIM). They provided a $100 gift card (Master Card) as a means of an apologies for the confusion. I called on Monday for an explanation and spoke with two members one of whom told me that she would get back to me. She hasn't! Is this strange? Should I just be happy with the $100 gift card? What is the difference in these two suspensions if there is one?
The letter goes on to state that the MSRP was based on the equipment actually installed on the vehicle.
What should I do?
Thanks!

Interesting. Looks like you have a 250. I think the AVS is only offered on the 350 F sport. So maybe they are ponying up for some bad info on the Monroney sticker.

So u paid for an fsport and actually got an fsport? So don't see anything wrong here besides the confusing fj thingy.
End the end, u still got an fsport with everything its suppose to be equipped with for the fsport package.
its not like u got an fsport with a non fsport steering wheel!

No big deal. What happened is that the original sticker told you that your car has something which it doesn't have (not supposed to have), and Lexus is apologizing for the confusion. At the end of the day you didn't loose anything.

The pursuit of F
Hopefully the MSRP truly is for 250 F-Sport and not a 350 F-Sport since the AVS/Sport S+ (and VGRS not listed) are exclusive to the 350 F-Sport and not at all available on the 250.
If the financials are all good, I wouldn't sweat it. A couple years back when I got my CT, the brochure stated reverse tilting mirrors came as standard. Well, when I got my car it didn't have it and I was told it only comes with the memory seat package. I was disappointed and argued false advertising but to their credit, there is fine print on most anything published either in print or electronically that states errors can occur... In the end they also gave me some Lexus perks to ease the disappointment and I moved on and enjoyed my car.

You're fine as long as you didn't pay for features you don't have.
Find a window sticker of a car with the features that were misprinted on yours.
My BMW's sticker had errors, which I caught. Had dealer contact port to print replacement.
