Thank you.

Anyone know the latest software version?

I have to laugh as I quit using the NAV unit about 2 years ago due to all the issues. So for the heck of it, last couple of weeks, I decided to try it again in my local area. First time, when I searched for a place with a partial description it popped up about 5 choices. But, because the readout cuts off at something like 15/20 characters, all the results appeared the same but it's the best guess that it might be right. So I chose the first one which proved to be totally wrong and I wound up in a 4 mile drive when I realized this is just wrong. So I called the destination and got directions. Turned out it was the wrong place entirely.

2nd time, I punched in a specific address. I was about 200 yards past my destination. The NAV proceeded to send me on a 5 mile square to get back close to where I started.

To say the least, I stopped using it again

LOL best reply yet and a true solution. I stopped using my $50k luxury vehicles high tech navigation system the week after i bought it only to depend on google maps mirrored to the system using my iPhone... Enform? Let's not even go there i can play pandora off my phone just fine

Thanks so much, Gentlemen.

So no new updates for the 2014's and 2015's use a newer version.

Argh. :|

I went from V10A8500 to V10C8741 and the lag is all but gone. The system user interface is much more responsive and usable now. I didn't like the remote touch before.. but now it's not half bad, at least it's usable. If Lexus would have included a dedicated Return button it would be better. I noticed the RC 350 has it.
I guess this is the new world we live in where our cars are now running, essentially beta software that must be updated multiple times over a period of many months before it becomes usable or stable.

Yeah, Google maps much better. I hate that stupid delay the Lexus has to where it says,"will begin navigating the route at next point". And then it doesn't. What a POS!

WTF WTF WTF.

23 MONTHS and 19,000 MILES later,

I (we) FINALLY have a working radio / navigation system without delay / lag / freezing / screen flashing / rebooting. STILL minor delay / lag on certain processes, but tolerable.

SHOULD NOT have taken this long.

ABSOLUTE BS.

F'N PISSED.

Firmware version attached.

Does anyone know if this update fixes the problem of the nav rebooting occasionally when an iPod is used through the USB port?

No, I don't; but day and night difference otherwise.

Seriously, as happy as I am, I am not.

And with all of our efforts for prompt resolution, I no longer trust Lexus.

No appreciation of it's customers on this important matter; can't take that risk again.
