NAVIGATION SLOWNESS- Resolved

I sent the info to my friend at Lexus of Pembroke Pines, he said he showed to one of the service managers and was told that they do not have the updated disc yet. I hope they are not messing with me. But I really want this issue fixed asap. It is the only thing I do not like about this car.

The update was issues on Friday and dealers are waiting to receive the USB stick from DENSO sometime this week so I would think by the end of the week all the dealers should have it...

Anybody has any more updates on this?? I am calling Lexus tomorrow (Lexus Pembroke Pines in south FL) to see if they got the USB/CD and to make an appointment also to either come pick up the car (I have full service) or for me to go there cause I might also ask them to replace the plastic cover in front of the gauges as it came with several scratches from factory (Salesman and Sales Manager knows about it).
Lexus Lexus... what am I gonna do with you??? lol

So they installed the update on Monday and everything seems much faster. All the issues I had are no more ie Pandora and iHeart not working, slow cursor, black screens and Sirus not working time to time.
Thank you Lexus!!
Thank you Lexus!!

Thanks for the feedback Kanphoto. This is very reassuring to me as my IS is to be built sometime this month. Glad to hear that the electronic problems are resolved.

Can you confirm the firmware version that was installed? I called my local dealer to see if they had the update. I was told they had an update a week or so ago, but it did not fix the problems people were having, and that Lexus was working on a new patch. If I can confirm the versions of what you got compared with what my dealer has, that may save me an unnecessary trip. You can check the firmware version somewhere in the Nav settings area (much easier that the instructions noted above).

Here is the full TSIB from Toyota Tech Info. I pasted the text here, plus attached a Word Document with the TSIB. I made it from a PDF as the PDF did not want to upload here (I think is too big). Some text will be a little out of place, but you will get the idea
