MPG calculated by recording distance traveled divided by number of gallons at each refill. Tank topped off at each refill. Normal mode. AC/Auto temperature = Off. Grandma on the throttle. Average temperature in November ~ 70. December~ 60. January~60
100%~80% HWY = HWY
70%~40% HWY= COMBINED
30%~0% HWY = CITY
388 miles, 14.47g = 26.8mpg, 90% hwy / 10% city; Chevron
335 miles, 14.59g = 22.9mpg, 70% hwy / 30% city; Chevron
109 miles, 3.96g = 27.52mpg, 100% hwy / 0% city; Arco
76 miles, 4.31g = 17.63mpg, 20% hwy / 80% city; Chevron

334 miles, 13.51g = 24.72mpg, 70% hwy / 30% city; Chevron
299 miles, 11.78g = 25.38mpg, 80% hwy/ 20% city; 76
175 miles, 10.15g = 17.24mpg, 10% hwy / 90% city; Chevron
296 miles, 12.34g = 23.98mpg, 60% hwy/ 40% city; Chevron
121 miles, 4.43g = 27.31mpg, 90% hwy/ 10% city; Chevron
41 miles, 2.32g = 17.67mpg, 10% city; 90%; Chevron
My thoughts so far:

My thoughts so far:
- City MPG is not very good.
- Combined MPG is higher than EPA estimates. I generally spend more time on the hwy than the city so MPG might be a little skewed toward higher MPG during combined driving.
- Can't get to 28mpg on the HWY.

I average about 22 mpg (70% highway 30% surface streets). I have been testing on ECO mode and I still can't get above 22 mpg. I've heard of other users getting about 27-29 mpg in ECO mode.

The mileage on the IS 350 is worst than expected. You can meet or exceed Lexus EPA numbers if you keep the rpms steady and low. Spirited driving will yield atrociously poor mileage and normal driving worst than expected. The 335i engine from BMW is much more fuel efficient under the same driving conditions. Lexus can do better, but I guess they have higher priorities right now.

I've driven 3000+ miles and haven't noticed a significant increase in MPG to suggest that there's a "break in period" before MPG will improve.
My experience hasn't changed since I last reported.

- Combined driving is as advertised if not better than EPA estimates.
- City is a struggle. 17~ is still the norm. Don't know how EPA got 19 MPG in the city. I think I'm doing something wrong or there's something wrong with my car.
- Highway is acceptable. 27~ MPG is not impressive but within advertised specs. No real complaints considering the expectations.

I had to do a drive at 95% interstate hovering between 70-80mph on I-75 and I-4 (for those that have been on I-4 know the congestion and how the speeds are never steady when you are surrounded by a pack of cars)...
I took a quick snap when I switched over to the extended gauge mode and saw my after refueling MPG was at 32.9mpg (my overall that day was 34.1mpg when I got home to Sarasota, FL from the Sanford/Orlando area)

While I am not one to give money to the gas companies, I was fully aware that this car wasn't the greatest on fuel when I got it but I don't put lots of mileage annually on my toy (~10 000 - 12 000km) so even if this gets 4L more per 100 km than my TL SH-AWD got, it is only about 200-300$ a year extra. The pleasure I get from this car is worth the extra 300$ a year and I can easily save some money elsewhere and besides, life is too short to be driving something better on fuel that I wouldn't be as happy with.
At least, that is how I feel now

Bought this bad girl in summer of 2013. It now has 12k miles. Today, I did a 180 mile road trip. Averaged 38 mpg in standard mode at crushing speeds. If I draft I know I would have done better. There are many things you need to do when trying to get the best mph from your car. As stated earlier, another member got 30's. It's not impossible.

I am not expecting good MPG in a sport sedan. My friend's C400 is making 18MPG commuting to work, local only. I am making the same with my IS350 F-Sport. I am happy with that.
I will be driving from SF to LA soon. Will report back afterwards.
