Default 2007 IS250 Engine Stalling...

Hello again,

I ended up getting a new battery. After installing the battery the car started back up and I was driving around with no apparent issues.

The next morning while stopped at a red light I noticed my car felt like there was a loss of power and I noticed rpm gauge moving up and down.

I continued to drive and the car ended up stalling...the lights and radio was still on so the engine died out somehow. I shut off the car for a few minutes and it started up right away and I drove to work.

After work while driving home the car stalled again while I was making a right turn.

I turn off the car again but this time as I started it up it was not cranking at all. The car was not even attempting to crank. Just silent. Pressing the start button just cycled through the modes.

About ten minutes later I tried to start the car again and cranked up like normal and I continued to drive the car. The car stalled out again and like before it didn't start up right away but after some time later it cranked up and ran long enough for me to drive home.

What the hell seems to be wrong?
What can cause the car to stall while driving but start back up after some time?

So far the only things I have done are change the battery and clean the MAF sensor.

I tried to start the car again and leave it in idle just to see what would happen. I accelerated while in idle and when it got up to about 5k the engine stalled out again.

There are no CELs right now so I'm not able to get any codes.

Any ideas what could be going on now?

Recheck the battery terminals and cables leading from the battery. Make sure you have a good ground because there could be a loose ground or a bad connection.

Have your alternator checked.

Since I hate threads that never get updated:

I ended up replacing the Fuel Pressure Sensor and the car started up again without stalling...so far so good.

Part number was 89458-30010.

Will keep an eye on it.

Sounds like a vaccuum leak or no pressure.
