Hi folks,

Just bought an 07 IS350 Japanese import (I live in NZ). There this little aftermarket Pioner gizmo mounted on the centre console, which says 'carrozzeria'. After a bit of googling it seems like Pioneers high-end Japanese group.

Now it looks like its connected to some other gizmo mounted below the steering wheel. I press it and some light turns on but I cant notice anything?

Not sure what the US setup is but the Jap models come in a touchscreen non ML version and touchscreen ML version. Mine is the touch screen non ML.

Anyone have any idea on what this could be?

Without knowing for sure I would say it is probably a Bluetooth adaptor. Have you tried searching with your phone with bluetooth on?

not 100% sure, but it could be the microphone for the auto-tune eq system. I have a deh-p880prs which uses the microphone to adjust its eq, which works pretty well btw.
