Answer Calls on Motorola RAZR V3c through BT.
Hey guys,
I can pair my phone to my car fine, make calls, fine.. But when I try to answer a call it shows the
fact that the phone is ringing but for some reason it says not supported as it rings on the NAVI screen. I cant answer it throught he car or on the phone?? What gives? Docs from Lexus say it should work fine, do I have to have the person in my phone book?
Also can I play DVD's on a non ML Navi screen?

you cant play dvd's on non ML, I was looking into making my own sound system off the base car, but the base stereo system with non- nav looks fugly. It looks like an old camry stereo layout. OEM nav looks alot better, but good luck trying to play dvd's off it if you dont have ML, maybe you can make it play somehow.

My RAZR works fine. (Verizon is my carrier, phone worked with both with Verizon firmware and now with Alltel firmware) Phone rings, I can either answer it from the steering wheel or from the touchscreen.
What is your carrier?

Just in case I didn't make it clear, I can also answer calls regardless of whether they are in the phonebook, with either carriers firmware.
The neat thing that the Alltel firmware allows is for me to transfer contacts, one at a time unfortunately, from the phone to the car. Not a big timesaver, but the mixed upper and lower case names look a lot nicer in the phonebook and speed dial than the ALL CAPS that you get by entering them on the touchscreen.

FWIW, I have a Cingular RAZR and it paired fine with the IS. Also allows me to make and receive calls via the steering wheel button or the monitor keypad, regardless of whether the caller is in the phonebook.
No problems at all, and in fact, this is the best BT sound I've seen yet in a car!
