Replaced Camshaft position sensor car wont start
My 2006 IS350 was running like it had bad gas in it so my husband replaced the camshaft positioning sensor and now it wont start. He did get it to crank once but it wont stay cranked.im going today to buy new battery but if thats not it can anyone give any suggestions as qhat it could be..it has 197,000 miles on it.should i have him check the O2 sensor and spark plugs as i read someone did in theirs..Also to the member asking about the location of the camshaft positioning sensor. Its located on the right front of the motor on top of the heads (the passenger side at the front of the motor on the top of it).please any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I would first ensure the correct sensor was purchased. Not sure if all four on our motors are exactly the same. Second, re-check all work was done. I've read that many members that accidentally pulled the wiring out of the connector used in conjunction with that sensor.
Let us know if that new battery helps at all.
