So im about to purchase an 06 lexus IS350, got high milage but it really doesnt discurage me because i have a daily driver pickup so if it takes a **** ill have a good canvas to work with. Ive eat slept and **** subaru since i was 11, owned about 8 subarus so far, had a mid 12 second wrx for a while, but ive always had a spot in my heart for the lexus is350. So basically i would like some of the veteran lexus guys to give me some advise on where to begin with a track/street build. Any tuner/programers available or would it even be worth it for a n/a motor? With subaru, cobb and perrin are some very reliable companies for performance parts, so what are the companies similar for lexus? Is there a company that builds high quality engine/trans/diff etc. bushings? Are the motors good to handle boost with stock internals and if so how much? What are some of the quirks with building the 06? Any heads up warnings i should know before going about this build? My main focus is to get the power back thats lost from the motor to the wheels and get it to the ground, and do some suspension tightening. I have no intention of stance, im more function oriented then anything. So any feedback would be great!

RR racing , Figs , and Sikky are a few companies that offer suspension items. RR also offers a tune. Hit the FAQ section to read up a little on the 2IS platform.

IS-F Torsen, ATS Carbon, TOMs, and OS Giken for rear LSDs. Many coilover options to choose from. BC Racing probably the most widely used and a budget-friendly option. Ohlins would be my personal BEST choice though. F-sport sway bars. RR Racing front LCA bushing upgrade. Many brake upgrade options. Only 3, maybe four companies, that currently offer tunes on the 2IS. PPE headers. Plenty exhaust options, and only a few midpipe options.

As far as boosting these 2ISs, there has only been S/C'd IS350; still have yet to have a documented turbo IS350, though I did want to be the first. Several on nitrous as well in the past. The S/C'd ones were only able to hit roughly 7psi on the factory setup, since before this year there was no tuning available. But oddly enough, since tuning IS a definitely option now, I've yet to see anyone push this boundary with a tune. These motors are stout from the factory; the weak link being the pistons themselves and the dual injection (direct and port) you have to hassle with.

Welcome, and post up pics up once able!
