Default How to get rid of engine whine

Everytime I gun it or rev I get this annoying and in appealing whine from the motor. Idk what it is and how to stop it

Its normal. My intake and exhaust help but its still there. Ide also be concerned about your mossing reflector back there. Lol

Thats just a 2GR-FSE thing.

I thought it was more of a Direct Injection thing... not just specific to our engines.

@oscar55773 You'll just have to use a sound deadening material in the engine bay.

Lol the reflector isn't missing lol it's still there but it wasn't reflecting light back due to no light hitting

Oh, lol. Yeah i meant missing. I only use my iphone when I come here. And I often misspell words. Big fingers, small device.

I'm new to the IS game and I get the whine in the cabin at most rpm's when I'm accelerating(light or hard). It drives me crazy as none of my other cars make that noise but, I'm coming to understand that this is normal. I initially thought it was some sort of static the radio was picking up from the motor but, clearly not the case.
