PS Anthracite Gray
Who has painted their OEM rims with PlastD Anthracite Gray+Glossifier? How do they look with dark colored IS?

It looked like someone tried applying wax to matte rims.

Shoot! Why did I not ask this question prior to purchasing the pack!!! I did the 4 Anthracite plus 3 Glossified PACK!
They all look good! Thanks for sharing.
I am going to do my RX350 first, which is GRAY metallic body color, it has the 5 spoke rim, which is not as attractive to start with.
Then am thinking of doing it on my IS which is Black in color.

Well had time over the holiday weekend and did it! I could not get the gloss up with several coats. I will take pics and post. Ended up taking the sets off and putting them on bar stools, much better.
The RX350 I did it with the wheels on and it almost broke my back. And i have paint drip.

It looks like your spray was perfect though, maybe a learning curve from the RX

MAizz, got that right from the RX. My finger is sore...I should have bought a trigger adapter. Lesson learned.
Will any other wax work? Also I can see rough ridges, will it not be a challenge in buffing it?

side note, the spray trigger is more comfortable but I'd prefer the can by itself, more control but thats personal preference.
Most spray waxes should work, I remember using turtle before Dip Coat came out, dip coat is by far the best option though. with any product you use, spray on the dipped surface and your towel/microfiber and wipe off, no need for elbow grease or any effort really.
If you are trying to buff it like you would paint to get rid of ridges or runs, you CAN... but you will scratch/mare the surface. Wet sand with 800-1000 grit, plenty of soap and water.. It works great if you are applying another coat or different color on top because the surface beneath will be smooth, but if you don't apply a coat on it will ruin the look.

Thanks for the info. I rely on AS303, it should work in this case, too?
