Default 3IS Conversion Fog Lights Installation Question

I'm in the process of doing the 3IS conversion on my 09 IS250.

I'm debating between getting fog lights (aftermarket JDM replicas from ebay) or going with the blank inserts. From what I've seen, the aftermarket replicas are plug-in-play with the 3IS.

One question I have with the fog lights is how can I wire them to function like my current fog lights, using the existing control?

You should be able to just wire them directly into the old fog light wiring and everything will work as intended. If using HID's or LED's make sure to mind the polarity.

Thanks for the reply Jeff.

So you mean to cut the wires and splice them together?
Also, can you elaborate on the polarity statement? The aftermarket lights from ebay are LEDs.

Depending on the connector required, you may have to cut and splice yes. Polarity just means make sure + goes to + and - goes to -.

Or you could buy the blank connector so you don't have to cut you wire

If its just the HID connectors, then I have a set. I currently have HID foglights on my 2IS.

Thanks for the offer, if the connectors I have from my current HID setup won't work, I'll contact you.
