3IS bumper conversion options?
I've seen plenty of 3IS conversion forums, but most of them are from 2015 and focus on bumper grafting. It's 2016 and I know of at least 2 online places to purchase a ready-to-mount conversion bumper. NIA sells one for $1200 after shipping, and an EBay source sells it for $800. I like the latter as it is cheaper, and is missing some air ducts I find to me a but messy for my planned build.
I'm asking if there are any other options that have popped up since people were posting more on 3IS conversions. These bumpers are both F-sport bumpers, and some people may want non-F-sport fronts, or even non-IS bumpers. Just to help those that don't want to buy 2 different bumpers then pay to graft them together.

From the two options that you listed to tell you that they are both fiberglass it makes it more prone to breaking paint chipping and so on. I've seen a handful of complaints from the eBay Dominican seller on the Lexus Facebook group. The complaints have been anything from bad fitment to long delays or being scammed out of the bumper entirely. As for NIA I haven't seen their stuff in person but from pictures it seems there's a gap where the bumper meets the hood. But it seems they got alot of their products floating around the Florida community so that they're definitely more reliable than the Dominicans. If u don't wanna spend $1500+ grafting together a bumper I'd recommend contacting NIA directly. Companies nowadays partial sponsorships so that will save you some money as well

I just put together a 2012 f sport conversion for my 09... it ended up being close to the same price as a 3is conversion from NIA (in case you were interested in other options).
There are a few posts floating around the web of NIA conversions... but they reside on NIA's website which may not show how well the fit without bias

Check this out. This vendor is looking for people to do a group buy. They are aiming to do a f-sport conversion made out of polyurethane. We need a few more names to make this happen..
