Default Hub Rings Question

Hello,

I recently acquired a set of Rays wheels which I am trying to fit onto my IS250. From the research that ive done, the wheels are 66.1mm and my hubs are 60.1.

If I use hub rings that are 67.1-60.1, would they work without any modifications?

67.1 hub rings will not work if the wheels are 66.1. If you don't get the correct hub rings it's like you don't have any hub rings or worse (in this case, you wouldn't even be able to mount the wheels).

For the ISx50 = Hubcentric Rings - 73mm to 60.06mm

Recommend Plastic

The Aluminum tend to have issues when mounted EX : getting rusted to the hub/rotor

I had aluminum centric ring and never have any problem with it. Plastic one isn't good in my opinion. I bet lot of us here use Aluminum instead of plastic. I could be wrong
P.S some member here on ClubLexus know how i drive so.........aluminum is my choice

I've run plastic hub rings from my local tire shop for years throughout various vehicles... I originally went with aluminum but when buying another pair went with plastic as I didnt see any benefit in paying more.

Also went hcring-less for a week while they were getting it in stock... didnt notice any vibration, but put the rings on anyway.

i had both aluminum and plastic centric rings but i prefer aluminum cuz seems to fit more snug compared to the plastic one i had and the plastic one had a bit wear on it after awhile for some reason..

Well not much people paid attention on wheel torque spec. Many tire shop over torque your wheel without you knowing

Thanks for all the help and the links.

I tried test fitting my wheels over the weekend with the 67.1-60.1 ring and like Jeff says, it didnt fit my car.

I ended finding some cheap rings on amazon the same wheel/hub size as my G35 rims. It is now a waiting game.

I decided to go with plastic rings as ive read online and posts here that aluminum will rust and seize to the hub. Since I live in Canada and our roads are salted AF, the safer bet was to go plastic.
