Title says it all. I am trying to replace one of my headlights. I am at the point where the harness is exposed and you twist it off to expose the bulb. Unfortunately I twisted the harness to the unlock position and it is stuck to the bulb. I can neither take the harness off or get to the bulb. Any help is appreciated.
I'm turning it clockwise so that it is horizontal. It is the driver side bulb. I think that is the right way, I seem to be able to feel it lock and unlock when I turn it this way. It just won't really unlock lol.

Try turning it the other way. It has been a few months since I changed mine, but if I recall correctly you have to turn it counter-clockwise to remove it. I also remember that there is a diagram printed right on the face of the socket with an arrow and the word "lock" showing which way to turn it to lock it in place; obviously you would turn it the other direction to unlock and remove it.
Thanks for the advice, guys. It turned out to be the cold weather. The first time I attempted this it was around 30 degrees outside. I tried to get the bulb loose two days later when the temperature was in the 50's and the harness came off very easily.

So was I right, counter-clockwise rather than clockwise to remove?
