I've been trying to read all the threads on this and its pretty confusing regarding repining the headlights.

I got a set of stripped 2012 headlights. I am going to add the relay to get the 50% brightness with low beams on, that's no problem.

My question is will the headlights work if I just plug the new headlights into my car harness and wire up the relay to the wires for the LEDs. Do I need to repin the new headlights if I am adding a relay?

Because it seems that from reading, that Sewell repined the headlights so that the LEDs will come on only at 100% brightness. But if im adding a relay, do I still need to repin to get the rest of the other lights in the headlight to work?

I cant find a clear picture or tutorial of Sewells repined headlight connector.
