Blind Spot Question

Agreed. angle your mirrors really far outward so you cant even see the rear of your car in them from the driving position. I adjust them so before a car exits my center rear view mirror, i can see it in my side view, then before it exits my side view i can see it in my peripheral vision. try that!

Sounds like you have your mirrors adjusted the right way, unlike many people on the road. If you can see the sides of your car, you have your side mirrors adjusted incorrectly. If you can see the side of your car, you are just duplicating the view that you already get from the rear view mirror. I was taught to put my head next to the driver window and adjust the mirror until the side of the car just disappears, then put my head in the center of the car and do the same for the passenger mirror.

Trust me you won't ever go back. It will seem weird at first but then you realize you can see so much more. another tip, if you don't have auto tilt mirrors, angle the passenger side mirror further down. so far as to just be able to have the same functionality but you can see the curb better. Thats what i do anyways and i find it helps
