Default 2007 IS350 modified factory rear bumper

Whats up fellas! I had an extra rear bumper cover for my lexus and decided to do something a little different. I plastic welded the bumper lights and tow hook covers up, because I wanted a smoother look. I haven't painted it yet because I was thinking about molding 2 led reflectors into it, kind of like the 2nd gen ISF rear bumpers. So I came to you guys to get some honest opinions and advise. Thanks in advance CL!

Thanks man! I used that plastic welder. it's an airless welder made by urethane supply company. I drew a template and used it to cut the filler pieces out of an old bumper made of the same polypropylene plastic as mine.

Definitely cleans up nice; however, I like my reflectors.

Thanks everyone for the comments. I think I may just paint it as it is, and not mold any leds into it. I like the clean look.

Its very simple and blank which in terms looks clean, but in my opinion I like the reflectors because it gives a more flow to the bottom especially at night. Which is why all the top body kits for the ISx50 like AimGain or Black Pearl have the bottom reflectors or lights of the rear sections.

I see where your coming from. Most of the aftermarket bumpers look to ricey for me. I like my Lexus classy, this was just a side project and 100% free.

I did that three years ago when I molded my rear lip on mine. I am surprised why more people don't do it. It makes the bumper look so much cleaner. good job!
