Newbie here with questions.
Hello everyone.
Just bought a 2007 IS350 for the wife.
While detailing the car this morning I found the key for the wheel nuts is missing.
Is there anywhere else to get that besides Lexis dealership?
Another question, I want to replace the exhaust tip with something nicer than the current stocked but not too aggressive since we're in the higher age bracket.
I'm too thinking about putting in a K&N air filter just like I've done that for my other cars. Any thought on that?
Will replace with synthetic in the next oil change. Thinking Mobil1 0-20?
Thanks

Did you check inside the tool set? Or the glovebox? Mine was in my tool set when I got it, and the bag for it was with the cars manual in the glovebox. If you have the bag, I believe there's a card in it where you can order a new one or even the dealer may have one (I imagine it'd cost about the same). If you don't have the card, take it to the dealer and get one ordered or have someone take them off and put new ones on.
As long as the tips have an Inlet diameter of 2.25, you can use anything you want.
Use the K&N if you want. A lot of people here use them, or the F Sport filter.
0w20 is fine, good starting protection in cold weather, although in hot Texas it doesn't really provide any benefit. Maybe something a bit thicker would be better, like 5w20.

wheel locks - if it is OEM you can check out McGard's website:
http://www.mcgard.com/
+1 for F Sport filter....no oil issue to deal with
for motor oil: you can use 0W20 or 0W30

Lexus said it would cost $20 to get the key lock.
Mobil1 recommends 5-30 for high mileage.
The exhaust tips seem to oxidize so bad but working fine. I may have to find something to de-oxidize it.
Thanks everyone who replied.
