Take the battery out. Get a trickle charge and hook it up on the battery. Good luck.

That doesn't sound right. I can see concern about leaving the car for months, but it should certainly be able to make it two weeks. I've left my car untouched while away for 2-3 weeks at least half a dozen times and it always fires right up when I get back from my trip.

I feel like removing it will be the best option.... no need to charge, if it dies anyway simply reinstall when you get back and jump the car, leave it running and it should go back to working perfectly fine.

I've left a few of mine for 6 months or more without problem and that was both in cold weather(minnesota winter) and warm weather(arizona summer) with no problem. its always good to put a trickle on it though. I've known a few people who were nuts that trickled their battery every night and they had batteries last over ten years. insane
