About to get an IS250 AWD..rim/tire question..
We are about to obtain another IS in the family for the wife...currently we have an ISF and she loves the IS and wants AWD for the winter drives.
I'm wondering, is it safe to run the follow rim/tire package for the awd system?:
F- 225/35R19 19x8.5"
R- 265/30R19 19x9.5"
I'm sure they will physically fit as i had this setup on an 07 IS350 and it was also slammed.
Any input will be greatly appreciated!

I'm pretty sure i read somewhere that you can't run a staggered setup on an AWD. Not sure what the reason is though.... One of the experts on here can clarify that.

☝FALSE. I've always ran staggered (I'm not the only one here either
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...er-thread.html) and I'm on my 5th staggered set up.
You can run a staggered on an AWD car if you pay very close attention to the rolling diameter of the tire. Typically if the difference in rolling diameter is less than 5% you're fine. If not then u could very well mess up your car.

There you go, I stand corrected. I only had a very vague memory of somebody ruining their gearbox or something due to staggering an AWD. Thanks for the clarifying.

So after some quick math, these are the results for my setup:
Front is 25.2" diameter, and 800.7 revs/mile.
Rear is 25.3" diameter, and 798.8 revs/mile.
So the difference between the front and rear is 0.004%, therefore should not affect the AWD system at all, if someone can agree with me, i'll feel much better!
