Default stud clearence using 5mm Spacer

anyone know if I use a 5mm spacer if I will have enough thread to safely use my lugs?

In other words with a 5mm spacer do I need to use extended studs or are the factory studs long enough?

thx

5mm you should be fine. Anything over 10mm requires extended studs

Running 10mm spacers all-around right now on stock studs. No issues to speak of.

VERY good point. The OE lug is a shank style with a washer and does go much further into the wheel than the conical seat nuts that are almost always used with aftermarket wheels. With that said, with 25.4mm in an inch, you are essentially talking about a spacer that is .2", which is pretty small.

i guess i should be more specific.

I'm planning on putting on my rear Big Brake Kit with a 5mm spacer because the spoke of the wheel hit the caliper during my last test fit...

I got the Project Mu acorn style lug nuts and im hoping I have enough thread on the stock studs..
