I just bought a 2013 IS 250 as CPO, happy to join the club, and wanted to ask anyone else who has this MY if there is anything to be wary of! It was starfire pearl (love that white color), has navigation/ rear camera, and only had 28k miles so seems like it will be a good daily driver. Wonder if theres any issues that these have (my big concern was the carbon buildup but it looks like by 2013 they more or less fixed that?), or if they worked them all out since 2013 was the last of the 2nd gens. Personally i liked the old look over the new 2014 ones.

You can also register to the Lexus Drivers website with your VIN and check for outstanding recalls and such that needs to be done on the car. With 2013 and CPO, there is probably nothing.

They did not fix the carbon build up for any years. It's not an issue for just the IS250. It is an issue for DI engines of other brands.
