Hello,

I have an 09 IS and I bought the 2012 Headlights.

I wanted to see how you can make the LEDs light up during the day without having the running lights turned ON.

It seem to be the only way to get them ON without turning your Low beams ON too in day time, the only problem is that when you turn the running lights ON the tails also light up.

Is there a way to make JUST the LEDs come ON just like on the Latest models

Yes I just recently upgraded my to 2012 u need to tap the wire that power the LED from the headlight straight to the IG2 fuse in the fuse box. The wire that power the led is green= 100% brightness black=50% brightness red= ground as I remember it should be by one of the corner of the plug all u need to do is go buy a add a circuit from auto parts store and tap ur 100% wire to the IG2 fuse from ur fuse box and whenever u turn the ignition to on the led will power up and I just unplug the high beam so the high beam DRL won't come on
