Default What resistor to use to bypass AirBag light?

I replaced my front seats with a pair of aftermarket seats, does anyone know what resistor size is needed to prevent the airbag light from coming on??

If you still have the old seats I would guess that you could check the resistance of the correct pins of the male airbag connector on the seat with a multimeter and then buy a similar resistor to "plug" into the correct pins on the female connector in the car. Multimeters are only about $5-$10 at Harbor Freight or Fry's Electronics if you don't have one.

This would be much cheaper than me purchasing a used seat and gutting it for the electronics. Curious to see if someone can nail this down with a DIY so I can remove the passenger seat while at the track and not worry about the warning lights.

If someone has a wiring diagram of the seat airbag connector pin layout I'll measure the resistance, but I don't just want to start testing random pins and potentially set off an air bag.

About 2.1 or 2.2 Ohms according to the thread and the post from FIGS below. It looks like you will also have to make the seat occupancy sensor in the passenger seat think the seat is occupied or transplant it to the new seat. Good luck!
