Just following up on this. Johnson Lexus in Raleigh NC has been doing their best to take care of this for me. Last week they performed a "Biopledge" cleaning over night and gave me a loaner for no charge. We'll see what happens with this approach. Meanwhile I haven't had my AC in recirculate in a month, using fresh air only. I'm not sure its helping.

Sadly the smell came back today. It's been a week since the more in-depth cleaning was done. While I find the smell unpleasant, my real concern is that the smell is caused by mold/mildew in the AC system. Even though the smell goes away quickly, the root cause of the problem is still present. I don't fancy breathing that in while in my car, especially if I'm going to keep this thing for 8 or more years.
Has anyone else taken the dealer/Lexus to task over this issue? Did you ever get satisfactory resolution?

The problem with Lysol and Ozium is that is not removing the cause of the problem, its simply covering it up with another smell. That's not a solution in my mind, a bandaid at best.
