06 Lexus is250 good deal?
Okay so I'm looking into a Lexus is250 AWD, it has 111k miles on it, and they are asking 8.5k for it...this car is sell as is, so what goes wrong around that mileage, what can go wrong...the car looks like it's solid looks clean, any suggestion? I really want this car but won't get it if it's not reasonable

Check KBB Value on it. As long as maintenance has been top notch there should be minimal problems with the engine. What I've read for issues over 100k is water pump / nav. But not much else.

There is no chain. Check the records and see if the carbon build up recall been done. Also water pump tends to go around this time. Battery. alternator and see if spark plugs were done. Check the suspension for leaks I'm having leaking struts in front im a 105k. My radiator leaked at 100k water pump went at 95k.

If it feels weak/extra low torque and if the idle drops below 500 real quick when coming to a stop and sometimes it feels like you're going to stall (assuming it's an Automatic transmission) then it could have the carbon cylinder build up recall. It goes for 9 years after the car was purchased. So it could end this year. They literally rebuild your engine pretty much.
I got mine at 99k miles. They install new pistons and rebuild most of your engine so it's like new. I have 130k now and it's strong. Just need to replace suspension parts. Get coilovers (BCR w/ swift or Fortune Auto 500 w/ swift) and front and rear sway bars (f sport or any kind really, I got Cusco), and replace the front lower arm rear mount #2 bushing that www.figsengineering.com makes.
Get the high performance duro poly 90 model.
