The battery had died in my lexus is250 so i went to the store bought a new battery and went to start it, it acts like its going to start turns over but never catches. I know its not the fuel pump because i can here it kick on when i push the start button. I called the lexus dealership ofcourse they want me to take it to them but i would really like to figure it out on my own. If soneone can help me out that would be amazing ive been out of a car for three months now i got to get it running.

First double check the wires and check the voltage of both batteries if you can, maybe the problem wasn't the battery.

Try to start the car a few times. Last time I disconnected both terminal of my battery it took about 4 tries for the car to start.

Are you sure you got the correct battery with the correct terminals? No possible way you could have blown the fusible link?
