Started my car up today and my check engine light and Trac light is on anybody know what this mean really need help on what this light mean asap thanks in advance

As I tell everyone with a check engine light there no one solution. You have to get the code read threw the OBD 2 port to find out your issue with the code you'll get.

Will the gas cap cause this to happen I went to put gas and when I opened the gas tank door the gas cap fell off so might be the cause and I just got my car back from the autobody shop couple days ago

Tighten the gas cap and lights still on do I have to disconnect the battery to make it go away to see if that was the gas cap

Either disconnect the battery or drive 40+ miles.
