Exclamation Car Making Weird Noise on Cold Start!

Hey guys I noticed that for the few weeks my car makes a weird rattling noise on a cold start. I finally took a video of it today so you guys can hear for yourselves and maybe let me know if its ever happened to you and how you went about fixing it, thanks!

I uploaded it on youtube so you can hear the sound I'm talking about from the link below

Sounds like it may be an exhaust rattle if it's coming from the rear with the car in park.

Do you have silencers on your exhaust?

Doesn't look like factory tips. Aftermarket exhaust? Possible broken hanger rattling on pipe. Get on the ground and look under.

Definitely exhaust-related; either part of the aftermarket setup OR could be a rattling heat shield somewhere upstream.

I took it to Lexus and they said they would check it out for free and within 2 minutes the tech came out and said that the metal piece thats welded on between the 2 pipes came loose so it was causing the rattling. He ended up taking off that metal piece and now the rattle is gone. I guess the salt here ate away at the welding

^Was it part of the OE exhaust system or the aftermarket portion?

^Guessing it was one of these two "brackets" then. Was it the thin, upper bracket?

Yup, it was that exact one. Shouldn't be a big deal right?

^If the entire is hung properly and bolted tight...nope. I assume that the welds didn't break leaving holes in the piping.

Yeah everything is bolted and hung properly. I asked the tech at lexus to examine the entire exhaust to make sure theres no leaks or holes so everything is good, no holes left by the welds
