New to the forum. I have a graphic design background. Anyone interested in some updated BMP files? Is this thread still alive. I'm a little late to the party...

At least for me,I still check this thread periodically!
Congrats on getting a unit.
I've also been working on and off on updating the UI.
Looks good so far! Have you tested on the unit yet?

I haven't tested them yet. I'm still waiting on my unit to arrive. I based the new skins on the custom gui posted earlier in this thread. I just dressed them up a little more. I can post them all if you want to give them a try. I also have the raw photoshop files.

Has anyone done this with a car that had navi to begin with? Seems like it might be more plug and play as there's already a mic, a gps antenna and a rear view camera. Can all of these be plugged in?
Seems like there's still 3 unresolved issues
1. Airbag light issue, Does everyone have this?
2. fitment near the vents
3. Celsius outside temp.

Help
I'm Stuck, I've managed to correct the radio frequencies but only if the sd card pathway is set to where the radio fix is on the card. I have copied files into the audio file in the NAND Flash drive and no have the NAV button jacked up to hot button to whatever is selected as SD card pathway.
What am I doing wrong
1. Downloaded D2280 to SD
2. downloaded Update.exe to SD
3. opened CE with update
4. paste D2280 to NAND Flash didn't fix, then cut and pate into audio file in NAND Flash didn't fix
its the 8' unit in a 2008 IS250. Would be nice if Temp was in Fahrenheit as well since we are Neanderthals here in the states.

3 years and I'm still trying to get mine to read in Fahrenheit too. I've pretty much learned the Celsius scale by now. LOL
