Will these tires work on my 2008 Lexus is250
I just put 4 new yokohama avid ascends on my 2008 Lexus IS250. Since then I am getting a vibration in the car and some vibration in the steering wheel. Someone told me these are made for high performance cars and not touring sedans and would cause the vibration. Other told me to check the toe on my alignment, which when the tires were put on they also did an alignment at that time. Any suggestions-opinions of what is causing this would be appreciated.

You probably should stop listening to the first friend when it comes to car stuff. 1st of all a set of all-season (AKA no-season) tires have no place on a "high performance car". 2nd of all, ALL tires need to be balanced, and that goes double for a "high performance car". Imagine a Ferrari at 190mph with out of balance tires, it would take less than 2 minutes before things started breaking.
As far as the 2nd friend, toe can make the car twitchy, but it won't make the car vibrate. As mentioned by Gville re-balance the tires.

Those tires are specifically labeled touring. They may dampen vibration, but your traction will suffer in the wet and the dry. Your braking distance will increase, your car may brake traction. Vibration might be due to some other factor and getting all season touring cars will just mask it. My car's steering wheel is void of any vibration and I am running PSS.
