Exclamation Help!! Hood open message

Hi,

Message on the MID shows "HOOD OPEN" as if the hood is opened, but its not, its closed. Tried opening the hood and close it, still get the message that its opened.

I really made sure that nothing is in the way, IT IS CLOSED.

Has anyone ever had this issue ?

Thanks.

it should be behind the latch you will have to remove the front engine cover.

Yeah, make sure the sensor connection is plugged in completely.

Did you have any work on the front end area of the car performed recently?
