Hello,

I would like to know if buying this 2006 IS250 with AWD would be a good idea at the asking price? I currently has 150,XXX miles. Following the Buyer's Guide, I did manage to pull up some service history from the car. (listed below)

Obviously, there is a little over 40,000 miles that are unaccounted for but I was planning on taking it to a Toyota dealer for an inspection.

If it all checks out, is it worth the risk? (and 2 hour drive?)

I must admit I am only a student that is really eager to drive an IS and am interested because finally something pops up that is "affordable" for me. So any advice to save up a little more money will definitely be noted as well.

wow..that's really cheap for a clean title car, even if it's high mileage

as long as you get it checked out and make sure there are no problems or anything the seller is trying to hide, i say go for it

do some research on maintenance costs and insurance and you're good to go

For $7,500.. I say hell yea but definetly have it checked out! I paid $135 to the lexus dealer to have mine checked out!

It's really not a bad price, and it's certified pre-own, 100,000 miles warranty. I had parts replaced that's over $1,500 on the warranty already.

That's a pretty low price for a clean title IS. Definitely have it thoroughly check out beforehand!

u might want to check it out before hand. with those kind of miles you might wanna save some money on the side for rainy days.

If the Dealer service checks out then I say do it. But I would definately have the aforementioned rainy day money just to be safe. Think 2k and above safe.

But unfortunately, I missed out on this one due to taking too much time, lack of transportation and phone malfunctions. LOL.

One day (very soon) an IS will be mine!
