I run a 245/30 in the front and a 275/30 in the rear. I was told that it would never work but its been all good for a month now

It will work if you want to blow your rear differential. Never run different size tires on an AWD.

If you're going to run staggered sizes, you have to make sure the rolling diameter is the same (front to back). The sizes you guys described will not work without causing damage to your vehicles.

@LexusIS954: I really hope your car is not AWD for your sake.

This. Non matching tires are not good for the AWD system. It may work for a little while but ultimately you're destroying your car.

Also search, there's a thread dedicated to this.
