Default Power steering

I know in the manual there isn't an interval for changing fluid for power steering; but can it be, or has it been done.
The reason I'm asking is my RX there is no service interval and people are changing their racks out around 100k. I have ignored this and changed the fluid in the RX every 90k.

Thanks in advance,
Chris

the 2IS uses electric power steering so there is no fluid to change.
