Help: Lexus IS 350
Hey Everybody,
I recently purchased a 2007 Lexus IS 350. There are a few problems with the car that I need help with.
1) The aux input does not work. I took it to a mechanic and they attempted to put several different aux cables into the aux input in the console and none of them worked. Whenever I try to stick an aux cable into the slot, it doesn't go in all the way. It almost seems as if something is jammed. What should I do? Is it worth taking to a Lexus dealership and getting the whole console replaced for $400+?
2) The stereo system for my car is 'Mark Levinson Audio System.' The front center speaker is blown out, so every time I drive the car, I put the audio output on all the way rear so that the front center speaker is not being used. Is there anything I can do or do to fix it or fix part of it or do you all know of any places that will do it for cheaper instead of paying several hundreds of $$$$ to get it replaced?
3) The bottom of the front bumper is dented/cracked/uneven. You can't see it unless you get on your knees and tilt your head and look a little bit under the car. The dent is not a problem because it's hardly noticeable and pretty inconspicuous. However, I've been noticing lately that when driving the car, many times when (the music is turned off and the car is silent) I put my foot on the gas and accelerate (no matter how quickly or slowly I accelerate), there seems to be a noise that sounds only when I accelerate. It stops when I pull my foot off the gas pedal. It's like a rumbling noise. Any ideas? Do you all think it has anything to do with the bumper, possibly connected to the wheel wells? Because I've noticed one side wheel well is lower than the other side wheel well.
Sorry for the long questions, and thank you all for reading!

For #2, are you on surround sound mode? I would turn it off and see if that stops the center speaker from being used. If you really want it fixed without having to pay a ton of money check these guys out.

They fixed my sub on my old 2006 with ML and it worked perfectly.

I'm pretty sure you pulled your car in behind mine Monday at Park Place Lexus in Grapevine?
For the parts make a Sewell Parts account online and register with your ClubLexus account. You can check the prices and tell Park Place to match you part pricing. Should cut the cost down a bit.

some people that doesn't have a center speaker there said that the cover can be pry out with a credit card. You can see if there's screw on top to unscrew it. Otherwise, you might need to take the stereo unit out from the dashboard and get access to it from under (not sure about this one).
